A San Diego Comic-Con, mais famosa convenção de cultura pop do mundo, se tornou virtual em 2020, devido ao momento crítico de pandemia que estamos enfrentando. Infelizmente, os encontros de fãs, as competições de cosplayers, a gritaria durante os painéis e a interação com atores, cineastas, produtores, ilustradores e roteiristas, que fazem da Comic-Con o paraíso nerd na Terra, não irão rolar este ano. O lado bom é que não será preciso enfrentar filas e e é possível acompanhar tudo diretamente do conforto da sua casa. E, como de costume, o anúncio dos vencedores do Eisner Awards 2020 – a maior premiação da indústria dos quadrinhos – ocorreu durante a Comic-Con de San Diego. O chamado Oscar das HQs é celebrado anualmente e honra os criadores do ramo e seus trabalhos em 32 categorias diferentes. A cerimônia virtual, apresentada por Phil LaMarr – ator, dublador, comediante, conhecido por seus papéis em séries animadas como Lanterna Verde, Liga da Justiça Sem Limites, Futurama e os personagens-título de Samurai Jack e Super-Choque – pode ser conferida no vídeo acima, postado há 14 horas.
