Na manhã desta segunda-feira, dia 9, os atores Dakota Fanning, Tim Allen e Susan Kelechi Watson foram os encarregados de divulgar os nomeados à 77ª edição do Globo de Ouro. O prêmio, entregue anualmente pela Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood (Hollywood Foreign Press Association), consagra as melhores realizações do cinema e da televisão. O anúncio dos indicados ocorreu durante uma coletiva no Beverly Hilton, em Los Angeles.

O belíssimo História de um Casamento de Noah Baumbauch lidera o número de indicações, concorrendo em seis categorias, incluindo melhor filme de drama, atriz (Scarlett Johansson), ator (Adam Driver) e atriz coadjuvante (Laura Dern, perfeita em seu papel). Outro favorito é Era Uma Vez Em… Hollywood, com cinco nomeações. O longa de Tarantino concorre aos prêmios de melhor filme de comédia ou musical, roteiro, direção, ator e ator coadjuvante. O Irlandês de Martin Scorsese disputa quatro categorias: melhor filme, direção, roteiro e ator coadjuvante, na qual tanto Al Pacino quanto Joe Pesci marcam presença, assim como no Critics’ Choice. Sentida ausência de Robert De Niro entre os melhores atores dramáticos. O filme Dois Papas, do brasileiro Fernando Meirelles, está entre os indicados em uma das categorias principais, a de melhor filme de drama. A produção, em cartaz nos cinemas desde o dia 5, chega à Netflix em 20 de dezembro.

Nas categorias de televisão, os campões de indicações são as minisséries Chernobyl da HBO, Unbelievable da Netflix e o drama biográfico The Crown, também da Netflix, que disputam quatro prêmios cada.

Os esnobados da vez foram o longa A Vida Invisível, de Karim Aïnouz, forte candidato à categoria de melhor filme estrangeiro no Oscar 2020; e a série Game of Thrones que só concorre mesmo em melhor ator de série dramática – uma controversa indicação para Kit Harrington, o intérprete de Jon Snow.

A cerimônia de entrega dos prêmios será realizada em 5 de janeiro, em Los Angeles, e contará novamente com a apresentação do comediante britânico Ricky Gervais, que foi hostess da premiação nas edições de 2012 e 2016.
